Auditor Posted March 28, 2017 Share Posted March 28, 2017 There's nothing inherently wrong with this, it just doesn't really go anywhere. It's pleasant, not very challenging, and danceable. I would suggest thinking about tension and release when you are making a track. As much as I hate "The Drop" and fades and all that crap in a lot of electronic music, the reason those things are used so much is to build tension. I would look into applying ways to build this tension that breaks from the normal filter sweeps and such, unless you want to do those things. Plenty of producers do.
