Bochum Welt - April

Herr Jan

Recommended Posts

Bought in yesterday in a store in Maastricht where I didn't expect to find it.

Came with a download code and everything.

Listened to it twice by now and must say I really really like it. Overall it's pretty chill, my only issue is that the tracks are a bit on the short side.

I feel he should've either made the tracks longer and go for a double lp, or choose less tracks and make the chosen ones a bit longer...

But great album for me.

Turns out Bochum Welt is also a poetic wordsmith while giving a few music recommendations:

so azure is for all intents and purposes the only new track on this?

edit: it's on bleep now but even the best tracks from R.O.B. aren't on there T__T not sure i can't justify the price. No gyromite or saint...

Well, most of it is sourced from his "Good Programs" album and everything else is from the Rephlex R.O.B. release. The "new" track "Ghost" is just the outro to "Marlyebone". NYC Mix of Garden is done by adding the drums from Crescent Heights. "Flag (Take 2)" is "Flag" from R.O.B. with added bleeps. It feels like these tracks are licensed to other entities so he's doing some lazy mods to present a package to !K7 free and clear? All that said..."Azure" is the reason to keep listening and following this Italian mad lad.

Thanks for the explanation.  It's a nice album, but pretty weak to keep re-releasing stuff like this.

He recommends the last and latest Eno album?

Lol. I bet he'd never even heard of him before yesterday.

I was all excited for this until I read this thread and found out that he didn't release a new album, but that he released one new song. A new song that lasts less than 2 minutes

lol

It's a pretty nice song though
