DJ Guy - Archived Tracks (1995) pts. 1 + 2

Recommended Posts

I know they was mentioned by the man himself in the Structures and Rhythms thread, but I really think this release needs to get some pub.  One of the (many) great travesties I noticed when scanning through my Bandcamp collection is that only four other people have purchased this!

All of the Archived Tracks releases are special, and this is no exception.  File next to: Black Secret Technology, ICBYD, or Ae's Anti ep.

I spent all day yesterday listening to these tracks and plan on doing the same again today as I enjoyed them so much. The sheer volume of material on offer in these collections, and the quality of the tracks is quite staggering. I'm looking forward to hearing what Guy has been producing more recently, but I would in no way be upset with more archive tracks like these.

Interesting. Thanks for sharing. Will have to check this out. BTW you've (well, both of you gents) got quite damn impressive BC collection. Dunno what else interesting is hidden there (lurks furiously). Helps a slug like me to find some interesting new stuff I've missed completely. Oh and Extralife, I still owe you that "favor"...haven't forgotten, just slow ;-)

I've been listening to this release a lot this week and it is insanely good. Trying to work out the details on the vinyl release.

This is my first track in months, so I'm trying to ease myself back into making music with something fairly simple and straightforward. If there's anything you'd like me to bear in mind for next time, please let me know. I'd like to avoid getting stuck in habits, so I think I'm going to start pushing myself harder in the future, breaking out of this comfort zone a bit. I just wanted to make an easy track first! :)
