now I'm really in trouble srryyyyyyyyyyyyyy

I think we can all agree Mr Roy's tracks are nice', also noticed this morning that Aftawerks has an album on that label, released last year! I completely missed that one =(

There will be more from me soon hopefully :) :) I'm certain Roy of the Ravers and ceephax are different people...'ceephax acid crew cut' is just a regular techno/haircut pun

lol... is he being for serious, or is that a cheeky way of him hyping up a m8? (He doesn't strike me as the type to be actually irked by something like that).

I'm confuse

okay so what i've gather from this thread roy of the ravers is now known for remixing other artists tracks and knicking their track titles without permission, is actually talented cuz the acid bangs obv, and is a woman?? this gets stranger and stranger.

just tried to list to emotinium and all evidence of it being called that is scrubbed??? am i losing my mind? the track on line even has the "Emotinium" sample redone so it sets "emo" or "emotion" huh???

it's right here? https://emotional-response.bandcamp.com/album/2-late-4-love

Am confused by what you mean. Still called emotinium and says emotinium in it.

Interesting. I wonder if he got served with a "stop stealing my shit" notice from camp ceephax.

I wouldn't blame the phax tbh. At first I thought it was just a cheeky joke or whatever to hype up a m8 of his but actually using his likeness is not cool.

i recall ceephax tweeting that he was annoyed by the whole thing- mainly though that he was getting press requests for it and it wasn't him and he just wanted roy of the ravers to step forward for identification, so it it wasn't like an artistic ownership like beef. i dunno.

He reversed the last part of the sample as if it was a censored curse on the radio lol

I remember the tweets and stuff you're right. We can only speculate I guess ;p.

Weird for the version to be changed now though!

There’s some youtube footage of him doing a live set somewhere. Definitely not Ceephax behind the gear in that clip.

Andy should throw down and challenge whoever it is to a friendly Acid showdown, settle it once and for all. That would be a fun night.

Ceephax named him about a year ago, it's in Discogs edit history for Roy. And also listed on Roy's discogs page as his name.

I think we're all on the same page at this point that ROTR isn't the phax.

Can you link something explicitly? I scoured the discogs pages and didn't find any references rlly.. thx!

Aye that’s the one. Seems he’s been demasked as bandcamp, Facebook etc all list his real name all of a sudden.

Bit of an acid pimpernel anticlimax..... good tunes though.

Makes sense. I know the person running Acid Waxa works full time in healthcare and does it as a hobby. Lots of exposure from the RDJ gig for ROTR. Only logical to come forward and collect the winnings so to speak.
