So these things crawled their way out of my floorboards and attached themselves to my leg the other day.

Of particular interest here is around 5:30 where the chaotic rapid fire bits occur.

it almost sounds like ipacial section was jammed out half speed to start out with and then sped up. although i thought the same thing about mt st. michaels mix on drukqs and then aphex claimed somewhere that it was composed at that speed.

^ I like that perlence one

the slowing down process can really open up the denser, faster tracks, sometimes sounds like a different track entirely. sublimit, ipacial section and left blank were great. Not so good with treale, sim gishel though.

works well on lera too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTueliC5T0k

The first time I heard Envane was on an overdriven tape my mate had recorded off vinyl at 33 instead of 45. We thought that was how it was supposed to be, was very surprised at how different it sounded from my memory when I got it on CD.

Laughing Quarter sounded amazing at 33.

I prefer pitched-down exercises, here's one i did of Renifrom Puls for an old mix. Only have low bitrate excerpt so beware of earrape, basically it was just lowered pitch and probably a couple of dilettante EQ touches
