umm. yeah.

no tone generators were used.

just bike samples and their manipulated counterparts.

the working title is, "tweakers took my shit"

suggestions?

Great manipulation of those bike parts. This is the best sounding production I've listened to today. Some sweet chop-up work. Drill 'n' clank indeed. I like the whistely metal-being-sharpened bits. That one sample with the hollow vibration adds a cool ambience. It sucks that your bike was ripped apart, but it's great that this track was born out of the ordeal.

thanks for the replies and welcoming. im trying to make an ep from only bike sounds and this is gonna be one of the tracks. this mix is pretty squashed. can anyone here heavy pumping/breathing or anything of that nature? any mixing/mastering issues?

also i think the kick is mainly comprised of a bike seat hitting a hardwood floor. there a couple of samples in their though, that's just the main sound of it.

:fear: aww shucks.

well in that case here's another one that is planned to be on the same ep.

all bike samples.

ps the bass is a brake cable.

hey thanks to everyone who listened for listening. ive made more updated mixes since then (testing the mixes out on as many speaker systems as possible) but i worried right now that the mixes are too heavily compressed. anyone else hear the compression as being too harsh or is just me listening to the same track a hundred times now?

its better than Kid606

EDIT: Second one is better, sounds like im trapped in a hole though.

trapped in a hole in a good way? or trapped in a hole of compression and poo?

is anyone feel its too repetitive?
