Certain types of people will inevitably use this as a symbolic moment that demonstrates why America should defund more of their government institutions. Cynical enough? well that's kind of their fault isn't it? i'm sure this gets said a lot and it's cliche af but if there's one upside to horrible shit like this it's how people work together to help each other stay safe and recover, it's heartwarming af.
