what a catalog, the man was a fuckin genius & educated me more than most, it saddens the heart this whole mortality trip when good people are culled

a genuine hero, came of age listening to his Jah Wobble collaborations after me old man introduced us to Can & German releases from that once in a generation era of sublime, healing music

Roedelius is in his 80's, but gonna dig through the crates for HC's tunes the rest of the week & let the music out into the realm of the living

it really is just going to be one after the other of all our favorite musicians in the coming years isn't it. RIP czukay, he was a brilliant and visionary mind in music.

hadn't heard this track before, really nice.

I never checked out his solo stuff properly, aside from constantly playing Cool In The Pool over the years. Must sort that out.

I despise those occasional weeks where it seems like someone important is passing every other day

Czukay is one of those figures who was way ahead of his time in terms of artistic scope and experimentation - delving in ambient and world music long before those were established genres. TIL he almost didn't get into "rock music" but changed his mind after hearing "I Am The Walrus"

Thanks cwmbrancity, zaphod, and Staadrengen for posting all of these tracks, as much as I know about his importance I too haven't dug into his catalogue as much as I should of before his passing

Ok, where do I find more stuff in the same vein as "Plight" and "Mutability"?  Love the ambiance of these ones...
