Funny story.

Once i saw Luke Vibert play at a gig with Clark, Plaid and Exile; and Luke at the time had long hair and seemed a bit tanned. Towards the end of the night a mate of mine who was a bit tampered mentioned 'that black chick did a good set but when is vibert on'. We all lolled.

I wish Wagon Christ was black.

why tho?

A good time was had by all (except my friend who complained mercilessly about Plaid's set. She took major issue with all the chimes )

Best WC album?

Was listening to Musipal which I found super refreshing. Gonna be banging this a lot this week. A lot more funkier than Throbbing Pouch which had a more laid back vibe from what I remember.

so uh this never happened

I think it materialized as the Turn EP, just not under the WagonChrist moniker, for legal reasons probably (Ninja prob still owns that output or something)? I seem to recall  bandcamp at the time specifically said something like "as close to wagonchrist sounding as you can get wink wink" but I'm not seeing that now. Am I completely imagining that?

Toomorrow, for my money. Musipal is great though. they're all great.

Best WC is obviously Musipal...

My understanding is that after this pretty much everything has been Reason + his 101 / 303 lines ?

Tally Ho! is the best Wagon Christ obviously. After that he lost his impulse control and became unable to rein in his use of wacky samples.

This. Toomorrow gets the most plays these days. Musipal close runner up.

caze rates Tally Ho! above all other WC primarily because it features Juicy Luke Vibert, which he enjoys listening to on repeat during evenings whilst violating fresh roadkill.

is there any other way to enjoy Juicy Luke Vibert?

My vote is for Tally Ho! as well. That is the one that really pulled me in. Musipal is pretty great too but not quite on the same level IMO.

Musipal for me has more Plug references and is therefore better

Tally Ho, Sorry I make You Lush , and Power of Love Ep

And to whoever was talking about how the Turn release was supposed to be Wagon Christ but changed for legal/ninja tune reasons- spot on. Their is a bit of gray area with Ninja and the contract.
