I had a tuna steak on some Spanish island which was amazing but it made me shit 'n' fart 'n' vomit for 3 days. It did that to all of us. And we were sleeping in a tent. The stench of our farts was almost unbearable. One time I farted so badly that the other guy had to vomit from my fart. When we got a hotel room same guy shat and vomited at the same time. He sat on the toilet while the stream of vomit went into the bidet

At some point I could tell who farted just from the stench. Every person in the world has their distinctive and unique fart stench like snow flakes

I never thought I'd see a connection drawn between synths and porn until today. I reckon if you detune an oscillator to the point where it reaches alpha waves, then that could be potentially stimulating, idk

It's caught my attention how cheap things are made nowadays.. Like food products that I've always bought for years for example frozen pizza, granola bars, crackers, whatever , are sold 1/3 the size/quantity than years ago.

Also a lot of clothing I've found to be made cheaper too. Like I bought a reasonably good brand sweatshirt and put it through one wash and it shrunk so bad it was unwearable. Of course you can buy more expensive designer stuff but I'm talking average priced stuff.

Mass production is increasingly reliant on cheaper materials everywhere. Probably to make it more cost effective, even if that means reduced quality.

A good example: an electric fan built in 1948 vs one built in 2003 (prepares for Farmsworth reactions)

Usagi's post count is exactly 20K. So I can understand why he would be reluctant to go any higher.

Normally I refrain from spotlighting forum members, but I do not know whether any users have surpassed this post count.

EDIT: Oh, Joyrex is past 20K. Durp, dunno how I missed that.

Marshalls is no good over here and we don't have Tj maxx. Winners is my goto but sometimes the quantity is just shit, especially for guys.

I talked to my friends wife about this and she says she does all her shopping online and returns what she doesn't like. Maybe that's the best way

Amazon makes it too damn convenient to get and return things, that's for sure...

It's certainly the best way to melt the ice caps.

Yeah - I read a scary article about how our online returns are actually impacting climate change in a big way - beyond manufacturing all those cardboard boxes and packing materials.

Eh, If those retailers are online only tho and they didn't have all of the carbon footprint associated with physical stores (air con, lighting , staff travel ) then it might actually be a better model in that respect

I'm not so sure about that - what about all the delivery drivers and logistics to transport all. that. stuff.?
