Your pointless thoughts & observations

Imagine you’d gone through life without ever seeing your own likeness (reflection, photo etc.) Then later on in life you were shown a photo of yourself, do you think you would instinctively know that was you, or be totally unaware who you were looking at?

i googled a few people from school: 1 became a jazz guitarist, 2 became singers, 1 is studying artsy stuff in montreal, 1 became an artist, 1 architect, 1 hypnotherapist, 1 oriental dance teacher, 1 teaches at uni, 1 makes wine and olive oil, 1 lives in switzerland, 1 lives in the US. and that's just the people whose name i remember right now.

meanwhile, the only job i've had is flipping burgers part-time, i've been unemployed for the past 7 years and by the looks of it, i'm soon to become a tramp.

photons cannot be splitted, thus there can be only one visible outcome possible at a given situation. Forget all the speculation about non gaussian quantum photonic theoretical splitting, and recent deluded experiments about it, it is fake imaginative bogofagery

OnlyFans is the best method we've devised yet for destroying any normal, healthy concept of human sexual interaction in the minds of extremely online people.

idk if it should be illegal but I do think it's a net bad, same as porn. I'm not moralising, I have a porn collection. sex positivity and supporting people who freely choose to practice ethical sex work are things I agree with in principle. in practice however, it seems to all too easily devolve into something distorted and exploitative, both for workers/creators and buyers/users. money and sex is not a good mix. money and any intangible social good that should be produced naturally through healthy human relationships is not a good mix. I generally support the idea of people who are disadvantaged from receiving that sort of natural social good (companionship, intimacy, etc), for whatever reason, the ability to receive an artificial version of it by paying for it. but only because there appears to be no better solution, under our present mode of living (I'm not gonna use the c-word because that will trigger a certain person into 'marxist' shitposting for the next three pages). the biggest harm for the user is the long-term distortion of the real good created by the ersatz good, and the risk of dependence/addiction.

I don't think there's a better answer at this point in time other than "buyer beware". maybe state-planned allocation of big tiddy goth gfs.

I was thinking about this was fixing my hair the other day (something I'm relatively new to, and often struggle with):

So, Vampires. The way they are presented is these uber-hot, perfect coiffed, not a stitch out of place, stepped out of a Vogue photoshoot uber hotties. What I want to know is, how TF they able to look like that when they can't see themselves in the fucking mirror? I mean, do you have to turn someone who you can rely on to be your perfect style buddy? Seems that would come along with its own pitfalls (like, what if they don't like your style? You have no idea what they're doing to your face/hair. What if they are really pissed you made them into an undead corpse and end up making you up like John Wayne Gacey all the time?)

Probably not such a big deal with smartphones these days, but then you have to wonder if the same rules of mirrors apply to selfies. ..

if only there were a way to dose the global water supply with some magical chemical that would reprogram everyone's brain to think normally

Should people who don't excel at anything be allowed to live?

I feel like we need to start doing hunger games / Olympic type events, which at around the age of 12 u need to participate in. U will be tested to see if you are good at anything and if you are not u will be dumped or something. Probably be fun to televise as well.

Am i on to something ?

you remind me of that one friend of a friend who basically lives couchsurfing, taking acid all day spouting nonsense about how he's a reborn king of the natives.. he told me everyone should just put their 2-3 y/o kid on the street for a few years so they get strong and develop individuality. all this while he hasnt showered in weeks and has a 9 year old son
