Missed this, only saw it cos someone posted on the FB page! This is really cool, makes sense you can just plug synth parameters into a genetic algorithm, just stick your goal noise as the fitness function. It really is just "patch sex", a whole orgy of fart sounds fucking each other until something decent comes out. And yeah DX7 patch software works with Korg Volca FM apparently so no reason this wouldn't work.
