Volume 1 of the Illegal Rave Tapes Series (1999-2012)

The Illegal Rave Tapes Series is a collection of solo electronic recordings by John Lee Richardson under the alias Acrelid.
Recorded at his Mum and Dads, and Hatcliffe House Studios between the years 1999-2012.

This series of solo electronic tracks, analog jams and experiments in Braindance/Techno/Jungle/Acid/Breakcore etc....whatever you want to call it....are the flipside to The Hatcliffe House Tapes Series. Recorded at the same time (some before) using the same equipment, in the same studio space.
Most of these recordings where made on cassette and mini disc reflecting the time period they was captured in and have been remastered, Compiled and Mixed for your listening pleasure.

This volume dives into  Acid Techno/Braindance territory, influenced by Richard's Caustic Window stuff and was meant to be sent off to the Rephlex bods at the time....never got round to it.

Volume 2 is due out at the end of Feburary 2018 and will be available on Limited Edition C60 Cassette/CD and Digital Download from

In Different Space Recordings.

Here's the latest track I'm working on. Kinda electro, acid, idm ish [give it a name], made with Renoise, sub37, P10, blofeld and 303.
Still working on the mix a bit, so not mastered or anything.
Please leave some. Id like to know how the mix sounds, as I'm still have to get used to the sound in my new studio.

      Cheers

Sound Synthesis' first album on their own Wave Function imprint; deep, sweeping, melodic, and acidic electro - very much in the same category as MOY. Vinyl only, highly recommended.
