Bit ashamed of myself that I spent real $ on an EP with 1 and a half good trax on it

This is what you get for buying a NIN album post 2002.

Nggggg high freq like a jet machine. The packaging/CD itself/etc all look great. I have zero interest in hearing it though, you enjoy that :)

Have something on the way (hopefully, had to contact the Bandcamp artist and remind them to send my CD and that's still been a while...) so until that shows up...

Last CDs I bought were:

Nathan Fake - Providence

Claude Speeed - Ultra Infinity

Squarepusher - Damogen Furies

Lee Gamble - Mnestic Pressure

Got all 4 brand new with a couple deals/coupons for like $25.

Just a random thought: Why are they called "compact" discs? What are the compact in comparison to? There never was just a "digital audio disc" that was larger...

more compact than vinyl surely? I always assumed that anyways

Laserdisc? Vinyl? I don't think the marketing team was too bothered by historical consistency. Wiki says "Philips coined the term compact disc in line with another audio product, the Compact Cassette"

A broken CD is what happens when you mail something half across the globe, over a month of transit time, and there's not a case for the CD or any extra support given. Tsk tsk. Tsk fucking tsk.

Shabby, no bonus tracks then.

Which is of course exactly why I bought the CD :(

Contacted the guys and asked them if they could get me the bonus tracks as a download at least instead of asking them to mail me another CD, hopefully they'll come through on that. Not holding my breath though.

Compared to laserdisc

But that's a video format, not audio...
