I've been engaging in regular little 'challenges' with a friend of mine in Portland: 1 hour, modular gear only, minimal DAW comping. Is a lot of fun, and the time constraint forces you to avoid being too anal about the whole process, and doesn't really allow for finished tracks, more short 'vignettes'.

As you can hear, I don't really have drum modules (prefer to rely on dedicated drum machines), although I have just invested in a Basimilus Iteratis (crazy perc. machine)
