This just in - my replacement vinyl discs (all 12) arrived today.

Flat as a pancake this time thank goodness, and the pressing is exceptionally good.

Just a heads up though - while I wasn’t expecting them to necessarily send replacement sleeves, they have done.

They are, however, not the same sleeves as before. They are on lighter stock and don’t have the black embossed foil.

Not a complaint as I’m currently attempting to flatten my existing ones anyway.

Bleep really came through on this. Their customer service was excellent as always.

this is great news. i reached out to them and am currently in the process of photographing and documenting all of my warped discs. did you do this as well?

I did. In fact I sent them videos in the end as they replied and asked very nicely if I wouldn’t mind, as it would help them gauge the scope of the problem. Edited by Jamesqdot

Did you send back the whole set, or just the records?

Actually I didn’t send anything back. After i sent the videos they told me not to return them.

Again, good customer service there.

Is this enough warping to warrant reaching out about? They all play-back 99% fine, not sure if I should bother: https://imgur.com/a/eqlS3Md

I think almost everyone's sleeves look like that. Possibly it's to do with the black foil they used on them, in combination with the thick card stock.

That might be one of the reasons they've printed them differently for the repress (and also didn't check the saturation levels, as the new sleeves have come out light grey rather than black).

Yeah they actually mentioned craploads of editing.

Well we got AE_LIVE (x9), which is pretty much the best thing ever.

Bought the files, but honestly I've mainly listened to this on Spotify. You may call me an idiot, but my digital vinyls are in mint condition.

I’m pretty sure my copy of All End is bent; since I’m not opening mine it’s hard to tell for certain.

I think it's not unlikely that they will release Onesix at some point. OOOf, that would be nice

Awww... Congrats!!

Since I've got the CDs, I've been listening in my car a lot more often. I only have factory speakers, but holy shit.... The sort of... Faux surround sound has really opened up quite a few of the tracks, especially the more ambient songs/interludes....

sinistrailAB air, wetgelis casual interval, peal MA, shimripl air, and all of Session 4 have all taken on another dimension of sound.

And like all AE, I'm sure it's just going to keep on giving and giving over the years.

And while I'll probably always see NTS as a summer album, it's fitting incredibly well with the transition into fall. I'm excited to experience it all when snow is on the ground. Every single one of these 36 tracks will fit incredibly well with the cold, cloudy, snowy atmosphere of winter fairly well, I think.

=D

FUCK I LOVE this release!!!!!

Decided to get NTS 3 on vinyl after all.

I decided to get all of the four loose vinyl sessions but returned session 4 because of the crackling festival which was going on there. Will order a second copy.

Hmm, yeah I should probably do some visual and auditory inspections.
