They will make a streaming service that plays 24/7. When they sleep it will go on auto-pilot. Their algorithmic focus will shift from modeling their own tastes and decisions, to modeling the evolution and mutation of these tastes. It will reach the point where it can run on its own without any human direction. After Sean and Rob leave this mortal coil, it will continue to create an endless stream of Autechre as long as there is a VM to host it.

If they release a new album every three years, the album they release in 2054 will not have finished playing by the time they release another one in 2057.

indeed the tracks have a similar vibe

ehm, I'll think you'll find that was a reference to me yeah?

LOL could be that as well. they probably have an algorithm for naming tracks after watmm user names

i really think it got some  'north circular' groove tho

I want those records, but cannot justify it right now.  Hopefully they just press as many as orders they over the next month, in which case I will try and not eat anything for a few weeks and skip my sons birthday (joke?)

I don't buy physical releases any more, and more specifically I do not buy errornous ancient media (vinyl) since it wasn't necessary to do so.

NTS1 aired at my birthday. It's a sign.

I don't normally but as the CD box set was only 10 quid more than the digital digitals (and is lovely tDr) I thought ... fuck it !
