Just posted in the most idm thread when I obviously should have asked here. Does anyone know the bird that sounds like its call is being processed through a pitch shifting delay pedal? Like, it has a call pattern that repeats 2-4 times, each iteration being higher pitched and slightly quieter.

Saw what I think is a Cormorant in Paddington Basin yesterday. Is this a Cormorant?

 

 

Yes.  They're fantastic to go snorkelling with when they're fishing, but not much opportunity in London.
