Shit photo, but it's all I managed to take before spooking the blue tits. There was a gang of them earlier, all cavorting off picture. 

My little garden has been a nice distraction during lockdown. It drilled home how important green spaces are to mental health. However, it's funny to think that while bird song is pleasant for many, it's the avian equivalent of humans out on our high streets and city centres on a Friday/Saturday night.

^ Interesting, that looks heavy going in places, but will try and have a read later today. I managed to go book shopping a couple of weeks back, picked up a good haul, mostly sound related. This is now in the read list queue. Essay covers a few species, and there is an essay focused on bird song. Some familiar names in there from Touch etc.
