there are a lot of people who are peaved at BOC for letting their fans travel thousands of miles for seemingly nothing. i would submit that the true reason you're angry is because you had your hopes up like the rest of us, even if you don't wish to admit it. with that in my mind, i propse that we all consider the following:

1. BOC never said there was going to be a party/gig/record release last night. we all saw the redmoon picture, saw the code and began making assumptions. sure, we were all hopeful. but only they know what that code meant. it may have had nothing to do with a party or gig at all.

AND

2. the only people who are truly angry are the ones who were combing the messageboards last night. the people who actually attempted to find this "gathering" report that, although they didn't find a BOC event, they had a good time and are they did it nonetheless.

i thought boc was a side-project of gorillaz? so they aren't real.

that might seems dumb to write this afterward but there is one strange thing with that redmoon party (?) event (?) :

from what i know B.O.C are quite "low profile", discreet & quiet musicians (no live tour, very few pix [mostly done by themselve & sent to journalists], few press) so that seems odd they would invite strangers to a private party. the idea of a private BOC party surrounded by 150 fans taking pictures with mobile phones do not really fit with what i've read from them so far.

looked like only 15 people actually went though so it would of been them and 15 people.

fair play if you had decided to trek across the country on a little offchance code thingy and then BoC were just sitting off on deckchairs when you arrived youd be fuckin wel happy.
