I'm not sure how to feel about this because on one hand fuck Trump and yay Moog but on the other hand the deregulation of international trade over the last few decades is one of the reasons things in the USA have gotten so fucked up to begin with and tariffs aren't an inherently bad idea, it's more that they're being put in place by incompetents with all the wrong motivations so of course they're screwing over companies like Moog that are actually trying to do things in a more or less OK way while not really having much impact at all on companies that were already outsourcing everything anyhow.

Actually saw him as a guest speaker in college back in April 2005, four months before he passed. He's probably glad to be in the grave these days.
