So, I uh, might have somewhat spur of the moment (but not really, been wanting this for a while) put a system in my car. Was initially going to just upgrade speakers but my wife talked me into going m

Considering Ae dropped 8 hours of music that year with no hype but a facebook post it was a bit much for a 25 minute EP

I made it. Can't wait for the record to come tomorrow.

And my friend asked me to hang on to some big fuckoff speakers for him this weekend. Party at my house.

It's on spotify right now if it's after midnight in your region I think.  I see playlists with the tracks but not available in my country. Hopefully that means it'll be up for download in an hour at bleep

I actually psyched myself into thinking the download code would be redeemable now.

Truth is I don't actually have a functional cassette deck right now lol.

Poor Ae record is getting overshadowed there...

Lossless digitals are out in the wild, spectrals looking legit.

lol hell yea

i notice MT1 on this EP has slight variances at 3:52 - 4:19 compared to the live recordings i've heard of this track... the EP version has a high pitched horn sound interrupting the interplay of melodies during the beginning of that part, and the didgeridoo-sounding overtones accompanying the beat-dropps that ensue are much more prominent in the live version, while on the EP they are nearly completely out of the mix. i tend to notice these little details and romanticize over them don't mind me and my live version love affairs... i still love the track!

I just downloaded Collapse from the Aphex Twin bleepstore and it only has 4 tracks. It looks like the Bleep version has the bonus track downloadable now, but when i'm on Bleep it doesn't know i own the album so i can't access it.

Snagged from the Bleepstore and 5 trax (paid for the 24bits). Did you pay for digital separately, or use a download code?

Not cool. Why is that not on the vinyl. Should be the other way around imo

I really want to ask, is that Richard singing? I would like to know, and what you think about this peculiar song!
      Greetings.

Coming soon on ROHS! RECORDS (4th December 2020)
      https://rohsrecords.bandcamp.com
NEW NOYZELAB Album "CPMSubtree" audio will follow soon

Noyzelab is David Burraston - or is it that David Burraston is Noyzelab? After experiencing the man's work, you may not be able to tell the difference. Noyzelab's debut at ROHS! is a surrounding and otherworldly album called CPMSubtree, made up of five surreal displays of studio electronics that elasticize the album's forty-minute runtime into unfathomable stretches of displacement.
Currently residing in Australia, Burraston has spent many years refining his focus in many different departments - lectures and residencies around the world, collaborations with Aphex Twin, Chris Watson, Oren Ambarchi and Russell Haswell, recordings published at Important Records, Taiga, .MEDS, Cataclyst and Psoma Psi Phi, and installations assembled in dozens of indoor and outdoor spaces. He has built his own synthesizers and has written his PhD thesis on Generative Music & Cellular Automata, working to explore and document his research with generative systems, computing and all kinds of synthesis. On top of all of these things, he's often found with portable recording rigs, doing field recording to capture exotic and interesting atmospheres.
CPMSubtree is, at least in name, a follow-up to TTMSubtree, a cassette issued at Psoma Psi Phi in 2017, although the sounds presented here are wholly unique, in their own macroverse of existence. When listening to Burraston's music, you can never be quite sure what it is you're hearing or feeling - is that a sinewave, or feedback? Are those bells or a DX7? Is that a gust of Cootamundra wind on the mic, or algorithmically processed white noise? Are we frozen in space while otherworldly spectrums of color billow around us at light speed, or are we being poured down a waterfall, one molecule at a time, to coalesce into a pool of pulsing fluorescence? You might ask yourself any or all of these questions - but Noyzelab does not provide any answers. This is a one-way trip that you can't come back from, so proceed at your own discretion! For those of us eager to map the frontier of new and stimulating electronic music, the unknown has never been quite so rewarding.
NOTE: Noyzelab recordings utilize the full breadth of the frequency spectrum, and as such, are best experienced with either headphones or speaker systems that can yield very high and very low frequencies without issue. Lossless file formats are also encouraged, to minimize the reduction of these frequencies and their presence within the recordings.
