Nice. Their pmu album was great, though I think my fav track of theirs was their rework of Snakes.

That first track is sounding really good. I wonder where they disappeared to for the last 15 years.

One half of them (Dunc Murphy) has been steadily releasing stuff as Sunken Foal and a couple of other aliases: https://countersunk.bandcamp.com/music, it's all good stuff, but Fallen Arches (also on p-mu), the Friday Syndrome albums and Press Charges album are particularly good. Don't think the other guy has released much (if anything).

I will completely back how good the Friday Syndrome albums are. Absolutely solid front to back.

I just found out about this via RateYourMusic...MUCH EXCITE!!!! I LOVE THe Curse of Vale de Lobo and find it highly under-appreciated.

Same here - All 3 of the Friday Syndrome albums have been very close to the top of my Best Of lists for their respective years - if not taking the top spot. Loved Fallen Arches as well, which I'm happy to have on vinyl. Wish the rest were also available on vinyl.

I wanted to add (and for some reason can't edit my post): I checked out the samples on Juno and they sound nice, but skipping around the full tracks on Soundcloud reveals the true magic. Definitely buying this - regardless as Dunk deserves our money and I want to support the possibility of more Ambulance work in the future.

Ambulance's first EP was just put on bandcamp if anyone's interested -

Umm yes, very interested, thank you! There's another EP from 2000 according to RYM, with the following track list. Never heard it either.

  • A1Sleet5:51

  • A2Pocket6:18

  • B1Redudents6:08

  • B2Kurant (Booger Remix)6:06

that one is vinyl only ^ https://www.discogs.com/Ambulance-EP/release/310482

i got this one pretty cheap a while back off discogs, probably spent more on the shipping .. https://www.discogs.com/Ambulance-Da-Paramedics-Whindie-EP/release/171524

it's a split album with Ambulance and Da Paramedics, and Da Paramedics is seemingly just an Ambulance alias (???)
