Yitter?

I only listened to it twice, once on headphones, sounds like exm I think. Or maybe that exm+someone else colab that Touched put out, may be a track with both of the artists. Sounds a bit AE at first but much more like exm's recent stuff than AE's recent.

I’m a big fan of Mellt from Modulus, that whole exm album is pretty great actually

A new version/edit of it is on the Touched Electronix 001 comp

that song is something really uncommon. I will look for the second version: there are so many ideas and transformations that could be born at least other ten pieces

The bassline is oldschool Autechrean, but I don't get ae vibes from anything else. Could be something ancient that never saw the light of day, but I don't thinks so. Probably someone else's loveletter to Incunabula.

I join the choir above: 200% EXM, as i suppose it happened in previous covert editions:

https://touched.bandcamp.com/track/twels

Are you saying twels is EXM? Because I would beg to differ if so. Think twels is ae all day long.

Yup. Funny how they throw WATMM the obvious "twelb" bone and ppl ain't be acknowledging.

<- Believer.

As for the on-topic tracks: Nah. Good ones, tho.

Indeed, the reference to Twelb would reveal R & S, but it is also true that, assuming that the idea behind Covert is that of anonymous artists who could play to imitate other artists (...who looks like Aphex, who like Plaid, BOC etc.) , then it is possible that "Twelf" was chosen to further confuse ideas. I mean, if I were a musician and wanted to disguise myself as Autechre, maybe I would call my song twelf ... mmm... well..., I stop here, before falling into an absurd conspiracy theory ...

As for the piece itself: sounds and ideas and mastering remind me a lot of Ilmnt, but since Ilmnt is almost a tribute to Ae, I would not be too surprised if I was wrong, and it was really Ae. High frequencies emerge at the end: those sounds... the signature of our two?
