Of course hearing the tracks now you'd think "why wouldn't they release these"

but as @bimbom said ~some~ of the sounds are basic and common for the era, plus they're a bit all over the place and probs wouldn't work as an album/ep. also really depends if the artist intended for them to be release ready or just a demo (really strong demonstration of their abilities imo) to land a relationship with labels and then have a chance to work on something more worthy of a big first release. Music industry was a bit different back then, artists didn't usually slap up any ole track up on the internet for release because it cost a fair bit of dosh to get shit out there. Really class to hear them now though, hope they release them as a comp
