Bluegrass vs. Baroque Classical in a cagematch. If there was ever a thread to stir shit up in it is this one. It is healthy for watmm's democracy and promotes cultural robustness. But if bluegrass wins, the economy goes to shit.

But when IDM makes a surprise entrance, about to smash a table over bluegrass' head, you know there will be cheers from the crowd.

Wanking A Throbbing Man Meat

If I ever start a Throbbing Gristle cover band it will be called Throbbing Man Meat.  We will get so many wedding gigs I'm exhausted just thinking about it.

Fuck, this edit was a complete disaster....

Adding to the most-IDM 2019 list.

No idea what bluegrass is, btw. Gotta be something with brass and trumpets, I'm sure.

It's more banjo and fiddle, and possibly a washboard.

Getting a New Orleans vibe here. My vote goes to bluegrass. :)

i prefer prepared bluegrass instruments like you get a banjo and stick maybe a twig in between one string and a button between another. it's quite intellectual.

Been around since Joyrex.org and Aphextwin/Autechre.nu  (99? 2000?) and that description is pretty accurate. I'm lurking like hell though. I never visit Xltronic anymore, and I doubt even Phobs does it. But i check out new and upcoming releases at least one time a week, and I make gigantic Spotify-playlists when you guys sums up the year.
