I imagine you've already heard it, but wanted to mention the Kankyo Ongaku Japanese Ambient compilation released this year, some obscure ambient gems on there from the 80s - 90. Went on the Light in the Attic website and browsed the ambient section, found a ton of new stuff that I'd never listened to before.
