there's some individually catchy and fun bits in this, but it seems like it's trying to be everything at once all the time constantly which really wears on a listener.....maybe has a different effect in a rave idk but just to my ears it's distracting and doesn't feel like it has a center, and no direction/flow, just a bunch of ideas sorta thrown together. i'm saying this mostly because i do think there's a center in there but it needs to be mined out, basically...if that makes any sense. the last bit where you sorta focus on that 'outro' thing for the last 4 bars or whatever, i'd say maybe start with that sorta idea and emphasize that with each section and portion of the tracks....

i'm worried for you that doing that sorta thing will start to sound very Drukqs-y Aphex-y sounding tho...he did a lot of that sorta thing in that era, rave-y hype vibes with lots of different related ideas and sounds and just focused on different bits for a break or a bar or two or for a verse then moved on from it. that said i don't think the sound of it now works either tho, just seems too much. maybe people are into that tho! idk, wasn't working for me but i'm spending all these words because i definitely did like some ideas and bits in there :)

What Auxien above said could be pretty much my words as well. I mean, you have here material for about three different tracks. And those three tracks could all be great! Most of the individual parts here are really authentic sounding 90 uk-hardcore/rave material, with catchy chords and all that jazz. I'd really, REALLY like to hear some more focused, way more edited track(s) from you (actually I have to check your SC ? )?

Thanks for the feedback. What I make really depends on my mood. I have plenty of tracks that are very focused on a specific theme and follow that theme to its conclusion, but sometimes my emotions are a little more frantic, unstable, and unfocused, and the track ends up being an expression of that. And at the end of the day that's what music is to me, it's about expressing how I'm feeling. Some people seem to really love these sorts of tracks, others not so much.
