not only are liberals sad, they are the biggest impediment to the unchaining of the workers, even bigger so than the conservative who can be defeated on ideological grounds.  the liberal lives in a world of feelings and personality impressions, disconnected from the material conditions of the greater society and internally unattached to any particular alignment of intent.  they worship capital and grovel to billionaires, thinking things can't be done.  they could be done if it wasn't for liberals appropriating the left political position

there's no such thing as 'free' health care, or college

and Bernie's policies will make both more expensive.

hard to imagine my $14,000 a month cancer medication being more expensive.

caze you are completely ignorant about the facts.  bernie is paying for medicare for all through a combination of taxes on the rich and taxes on everyone, with most of it being covered by taxes on the rich.  and the net costs will go down since a large cost center - the health insurance industry which only exists to suck profits from the healthcare industry through arbitrage across time - is being completely eliminated.  i guess you think poor people just deserve to die or go bankrupt?

you've obviously not got a great imagination, nor paid much attention to world events over the last 50 years. debt spirals are a thing, inflation is a thing.

additionally, how the fuck is it cheaper to let everyone be unhealthy all the time? you realize that sucks away productivity of the wage slaves right? you realize routine preventative care, which many people do not have access to, is cheaper than treating issues after they fully develop?

where are the net extra costs coming from? treating more people who otherwise wouldn't be? you think that's where we should cut costs, letting them die to save money for... someone?

maybe the US should try implementing Canada's health system then? there are lots of ways to fix the broken US system, M4A is not one of them.

fine. we can change the name and call it Canada for All. problem solved.

it's worth mentioning that any of sanders' plans would have to go through congress. even if democrats won both houses of congress any plan is going to be changed, watered down, amended etc. however, i think starting with a high bar .. a high bid.. the going from there, is the way to go when dealing w/congress. the affordable care act started off as way more comprehensive including a public option.

US healthcare is ridiculously fucked I think we can both agree on that... I can't believe life saving treatment is that expensive...

the name isn't the problem, it's the policy detail. the Canadian system is nothing like Bernie's plan.

i dont care how much it fucking costs, i'd sooner seize every mansion, yacht, luxury car, and every billionaire's wealth, than sit by with this bullshit any longer.  actual humans are sick of neolibs who are themselves disconnected from the reality of the effects of the economic policies they want

see my above post. i see bernie's plans as a negotiating tactic. start w/a high bid. compromise. it's the way of the world and the way of gov't.

I'm loving this idea that you think I'm the one who's divorced from reality, you couldn't make this shit up. I find it hard to believe you're a real person. Maybe you're just a kid and don't know any better.

if that's all it is then it's a very shit negotiating tactic, would remind me of the Brits trying to negotiate with the EU. Bernie and most of his hardcore support don't see it as a tactic though. they genuinely think it's a good plan. lol. also, the other candidates have better plans, and they won't need to negotiate with their own party to get them through as long as they win the senate.

yeah i know what he wants and believes but the reality of it is different. congress isn't going to pass something like that w/o leaving its claw marks on it.
