Thanks. The reason why it sounds so "out there" is because it was all completely made with my own C++ programs. These programs generate tracks on a sample-by-sample basis from scratch using some abstract procedures.

I usually start with some kind of idea about what some program could do, then I implement that and build on it until I am relatively satisfied. After that it's all about playing with the parameters until something interesting comes out.

Thanks. Basically, it's pixel data turned into WAV samples through some mathematical functions, so that would explain the "bar code sound". The images I used are similar to the image I use for my sc profile in a sense that they are chaotic but possess a certain degree of regularity, so that there is some kind of a semi-ordered chaos, and that is reflected in the sound. Regarding the glitchiness you mentioned, I actually like how it just sort of appears out of nowhere to disrupt the flow a little and then it disappears.
