steep drop & qalapers & wongsebut

three more tracks straight out of the iepcave's hidden laboratories! 'steep drop' is like a slavic orchestra being splintered into tiny particles and put together so that the chilling harmonics aren't lost, but just buried deep under the shifting digital puzzle - 'qalapers' is dark demonic dusty devillish deep delerium dungeon dwelling music with subbass that will make you throw up not only your latest meal, but also your very stomach itself (this track is a bit soft compared to the other two tracks to preserve the dynamics and to keep the subbass clean and overpowering, so you might want to turn your soundsystem up a bit) - 'wongsebut' is a scorching drone, unstable analogue punishment for the brain, harsh but very detailed and with dense textures.

Good drones from what I could hear on these crappy headphones at work.

I'd like to hear some more building of layers, but I'm not into the whole less is more thing.

I've heard stuff from you before which I thought was a lot stronger atmosphere and texture wise..

yeah agreed, i gotta say that these tracks were meant as mix-tracks, 'dj-tools', to layer with other tracks in a set so that the 'gestures over time' are created by multiple tracks, different compositions interlocking and creating new arrangements that span over tens of minutes, hours even.

sorb --- 10:18min, 20mb

for example, try mixing wongsebut into the above track (sorb), and have it flow into qalapers - it could pass for a single 15 minute track. since i have loads of music laying around, i can create new arrangements anytime, loads of combinations are possible, loads of different 'compositions'/mixes can be created, especially if i feed the mix into another mixer and add signals from other soundsources. its basically some kind of high-level live-composing.. here's some more stuff which goes nicely with the above tracks in such a mix:

d6scent --- 5:02min, 10mb

snarltiksorrow --- 13:36min, 25mb

dweller at the threshold --- 1:57min, 3mb

kernfusiep heddik --- 7:02min, 14mb

rust --- 1:30min, 3mb

blue interference pulling through --- 9:08min, 17mb

etc etc, i have LOADS more if you ppl like it and catch my drift, just ask for it and i'll put some online..
