1. Fetch the Bolt Cutters - Fiona Apple (long-awaited return, love the mix of styles, her vocal finess is still phenomenal, very inspirational in DIY spirit and formidable track-by-track)

2. AE_Live 2016/18 (onesix) - Ae (pls pls pls pls pls, Melbourne my pick of the sets but you can't really go wrong)

3. All the live stuff (Adelaide/Paris/Brussels) & prob the upcoming soundtrack - King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard

4. The Slow Rush - Tame Impala (by far my favourite LP from them, very consistent and continues to find his voice)

5. Gigaton - Pearl Jam (return to pre-Backspacer form for me)

6. Boombox Eternal - Sam Sparro (another long-awaited return, decent throwback curation pop release)

7. After Hours - The Weeknd (resistant to the hype, not all that into Blinding Lights nor Uncut Gems, but BBTM aside I generally like his releases and this like Starboy is well above average for a chart star and mostly skip-free)

8. Sweat Kollecta's Peanut Butter Traffik Jam - Traffik Island (another Flightless release which has gotten a lot of mileage from me)

9. Australian Bushfire Comps Part 1 & 2 (Roel Funcken curation) (great for getting into new artists, alphabetical tracklists but decent mix of IDM/Ambient)

10. Miss Anthropocene - Grimes (have to be in the mood but I found the singles to all be solid and despite her characteristic dorkiness doesn't really have a dud track)

HM: Ghosts V - NIN (couple killer tracks in the middle which show how far his ambient skills have come)

Haven't had a chance yet to hear the debut Roza Terenzi LP, has a belated digital release, but the Quarantinas EP from the same label was fun.

The best chart hits I've heard this year (and since mid-2018) have been Doja Cat's Say So & BENEE's Supalonely

Couple things I haven’t seen mentioned yet:

CH — Pharmlands [Complete Sessions] — Mr. @Mellow U’s longer- and longer-form releases have been getting craaaaazy good and deep lately https://coppicehalifax.bandcamp.com/album/pharmlands-complete-sessions

Piper — Piper 3 CD (Reissue: Summer Breeze, Gentle Breeze, & Sunshine Kiz) — perfect music for these tough times imo, playing this a ton in the kitchen for the whole family, especially Sunshine Kiz https://officialpiper.bandcamp.com/music / https://lightintheattic.net/releases/6238-piper-3cd-collection

Mute City — Data Breach — My buddy’s album: https://mute-city.bandcamp.com/album/data-breach ; also feels perfect for these times, but uh, not in a positive way

Voyage Futur — Inner Sphere — found this randomly on r/Vaporwave, it’s incredibly nice https://vill4in.bandcamp.com/album/inner-sphere
