Hey now, sometimes they mumble about percocet.

On topic - as a dad, all I can say is "son, i am excite."

Never thought we’d live to see the day where Pharrell and Zack de la Rocha were on the same track.

Never thought i'd see the day 2chainz is on a El-P release.  Reminds me of when Little Brother featured Lil Wayne, never listened to them again.

I was wondering when they'd be back.

Bet they have a lot to rap about, given everything that's happened since their last album.

(Is "rap" the best term to use? Idk what the cool kids are saying these days.)

Yeah this is actual rap. The auto-tune warblings over generic trap beats trend has lasted longer than any trend in hip hop it seems. Unfortunate.

The way I see it, you're probably freest from the ages one to four
Around the age of five you're shipped away for your body to be stored
They promise education, but really they give you tests and scores
And they predictin' prison population by who scoring the lowest
And usually the lowest scores the poorest and they look like me
And every day on evening news they feed you fear for free
And you so numb you watch the cops choke out a man like me
And 'til my voice goes from a shriek to whisper, "I can't breathe"
And you sit there in the house on couch and watch it on TV
The most you give's a Twitter rant and call it a tragedy

God damn

The first LP from the pair was pretty badass. Second one promises nothing less. RTJ2 is going to be released for free on October 28 and two singles have been made available so far.

I'm very curious about these featurings with De la Rocha and Barker, but not too much excited about it at the same time eh. Can't wait for this album though.

So it seems, El-P and Killer Mike are teaming together to make a collaboration album as Run The Jewels... Should be pretty damn solid. "Tougher Colder Killer" the track they did together on El's Cancer For Cure was one of the better tracks on the album. They posted a snippet of the first single "Banana Clipper." Sounds pretty good. I look forward to banging this album around this summer.
