New Locust/Mark Van Hoen album having similiarish art:

The Locust album is one of 11 and part of a compilation, Touched by Silence, all the covers have the same theme based on tree stumps and/or growth rings. but it's the only cover that's just line graphics instead of being based on a photograph - the wooden box cover being the other exception and I think they're base on a similar vector shape. tDR's recycling and recombining things all the time, so I'm not surprised.

Actually I just found unofficial files via soulseek, now downloading,

but i'm pretty shure these are fakes coz track times don't match at all

...edit : now listening : yeah fake, hahaha   it's total shit, it's not Ae

well that was predictable but I just wanted to make a soulseek search just to see what would come up....

is this type of software still even a thing? wow!

(fun fact: it was through slsk that I had my first meeting with ae, back in the days. ahh..yes... good times)

Ehm, can you elaborate some more please? You meet ae on slsk? Or you met some people and went to some ae gig, and there you talked to stop and sign...

just curious ?

nah, just meant I used soulseek to dl my very first batch of ae-tracks, and that was the first time I heard their music... was back in 2003 I think. vletermx, dropp and parhelic triangle was the first tracks iirc. And from that moment on I got hooked, and I just knew I had to collect it all ?

(still waiting for the day where I'll get the chance to meet the lads in person tho)

Okay so... this could be nothing, but in the email received from Warp, it included a version of the cover without text. I noticed some strange artefact type stuff, at first I thought it was image compression but now I am not so sure.... Anyway, this is probably nothing, I could still just be coming down from the BoC stuff last week.

oh  it's still a thing, actually I can find almost anything that exists (320k mp3 easily,  but also often .wav or flacs) whatever music genre it is.

you might even find your own music in someone's shared folder somewhere on earth
