gnarlybog Posted October 16, 2020 Share Posted October 16, 2020 i dont know, while reading the pitchfork review i had to stop and check who the author was because it seemed uncharacteristically good? good music writing makes me want to re-listen from a new perspective. it can sometimes feel like a key to decipher their more difficult work. ie. what sounds like a submarine crumpling beneath sea pressure, they unleash a single chord that stands among the most beautiful sounds they have created in 29 years. Don't necessarily agree with his take on more recent Autechre, the review of the album is p on point for most part. Goes a bit wild with the thesaurus.
