I need a Mac genius here to help with software

I want to install the latest (like, nightly builds) MPV ,ffmpeg and the new Vulkan platform thats been developed. I use home-brew but I think they may be a little slow on the uptick

lol. i don't even know what those things are. i've heard of homebrew and i think installed it to get a nord modular working on O SX but i have no idea how i did it. eletro-music.com forum guided me through the process. 

you might find some reddit info on this stuff. there's some uber elite hacker level subreddits there i'm sure. 

edit: will i get hacked for posting in this thread?

Isnt mac becoming the worst supported platform nowadays?  It looks to me it's going downhill. New OS runs like a giant resource hog. Developers are running away scared. In other words, the answer is "no".

Most developer sites will have links to their builds. If you want them often, you'll probably have to build it yourself in Terminal from their repo (often Git).

I'm still not crystal clear on exactly what you want, but I hope that helps.

I installed everything . Loaded up my huge mkv of Alien 1979 and took screen shots. Notice the title bar

It's really lush. Lots good stuff coming down the pike
