Been playing The Lost Symphony - A free 2D puzzle platformer set to classical music for android.

Bascially help the young conductor escape by retrieving his orchestra. Play and move notes to your advantage across 24 puzzle solving levels.

Just posting here to see if there is any WATMM love for it, as I know we´re all afficonados for music in these parts.

(If you could't tell I'm part of the small team that helped make it!)

Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

That looks good fun. I'll give it a go.

    Cheers man, much appreciated.

By the way how many here are on the Evolve BigAlpha?

Americans didn't land on the moon. Stanley Kubrick directed the fake moon landing and left clues about it in The shining. The kid has a rocket on his jumper and the moon is 238,855 miles away so the room is 237.

Then why isn't it called 239?

Because the distance from Earth to the Moon isn't fixed. It fluctuates. 237,000 miles is apparently the average distance.

I saw this not too long ago. It had some interesting points, but overall I found the film a chore to be honest. I think it was to do more with the way that it was edited as opposed to the content.

  4. Only seen Pilger mentioned once here but below is a link to all his films.

Only watched a few but they're excellent. Year Zero: The Silent Death of Cambodia is stunning.

Another one I really enjoyed off the top of my head is this one about the attempted coup on Hugo Chavez by some Irish guys who were filming with him around the time it was going on. I think they were intending to make something else and then turned it into this as they got caught up in it all.

    Enjoy.

  5. edit; im really enjoying 'loops haunt' as well, thanks for the recommendation. It's refreshing to see so many new producers focusing so much on sound design in their electronic music. I know im not the first to say this but i really genuinely feel electronic music is turning a corner for the better right now!

Yeah, I got on to loops haunt the other day through a random mix I was listening to. Decided to check out more and there is some really great stuff. Found this nice little mini mix of his tunes here for anyone interested:

His myspace is saying that he's at BLOC this year too!!

  6. here's a link to the album i was talkin about

    wagawaga - mrepsican

fucking excellent cd, this is imo the best dubstep album made to date by anyone.

So, yesterday, I was bored, and I decided to pop by the dubstep thread for the first time and check out what was going down. At 58 pages I couldn't be arsed to read it all so I just had a quick glance and I see this recommendation seconded, and decide to give it shot.

Nice one lads! Bloody excellent album, thanks for the tip! Made my day better for sure.

  7. Just been reading this thread not seen it before, and there's some good stuff here. That snowbomb.mp3, though, I'm sure I've heard before. I'm definitely not 100% on this, but it sounds vaguely like an Ovuca track. Again, I'm not 100% as it's been a while since I've listened to any of his stuff. Just throwing it out there!
