Glad I didn't listen to the leak, got this yesterday in the mail, it was dispatched Monday I think, never had any problems with Bleep pre-orders, strange that some people wait for weeks to get stuff, I got it 4 days before the release date

 

This album is one hell of a way to start a friday morning and start the week-end, just finished the first half and it is .

 

This will get played increasingly louder throughout the day that's for sure.

[Chiastic Slide]

Cipater was the first song I ever heard by Autechre, maybe a year ago or more I don't know. It was the first electronic music I ever liked, so it definitely has a special place in my heart. When I heard the whole album I was so blown away I had to listen to the rest of their catalog and that's how I started liking electronic music in general. To me, Chiastic Slide has that restrained chaos feel and a sort of near-apocalyptic sound, sort of barely holding together up until Nuane where it disappears into space, to never be seen again (until you press repeat that is)
