U like your Ceephax don't u. This could certainly be mistaken for a Ceephax Acid Track for sure. Your tracks are definitely getting much more exciting since you got your real 303. This could definitely pass for being a Ceephax Tune i'd say. The second acid line I might have given a bit more reverb on though.

What sequencer are you using again? You could really beef your tracks up with some more fx I reckon but not much because you've developed quite a nice sound now I'd say. Whats Andy think of your latest tunes?

ah thanks, i have a proposed gig with andy in the 20 somthing of this month though nothing is set into stone, which will be good fun! and i havnt shown him yet as i just finished it, but he did a song based on one of my old tracks a few days ago which he described as "303 western guitar saloon thing"

infact the real influence of this track is - the groove by liddell townsell - if you hear it you'll understand :w00t:

this was a tr-707 tb-303 recorded into Audacity [ which is just a freeware audio recorder], all fx and glich [noise filter, repeat, reverse] is from ediitng in audacity as well, i had to record the main bassline and drums first while twiddling the drums and tb, then i recorded the other 303 on another track [ i couldnt do it togetehr as audacity was recording the sound of the first bassline and drum track and couldnt record just one track for some reason!?] then i "syc'd" up the two tracks via placing the bass drum kick in line with the other!

this is a shitty way to do it for sure but i had to get this idea out fast before i forgot it or accidently recorded over the patterns on the 303

i have a boss Br-8 8 track which has midi trigering so i'll use that next time.. plus some good custom fx patches

i used the gate reverb and 5 band EQ from my mackie dfx12 on the 707 and 303

the 2nd acid line is using the "classic audio filter" from the classic vst pack which are real good vst's, which is quite nice but the Fx interface on audacity are weak

:on2long:
