I think the first halves of both would be uncannily good fits for an Earthbound game. Second halves, not so much, but good work!

well it helps that the SNES music chip was basically a tracker (all sample based?) and Earthbound probably got its sound by not trying too hard to keep a consistent sound palette, which I love because it sounds like timbres arguing with each other or something

and yeah especially the second track it shouldn't start ROCKING OUT all of a sudden I've got to filter it so it's more like a spooky voice sound

to me you've go the sounds down. but you lack the style of melody that Earthbound had.

either way though, these are pretty cool :)

yeah I found some way to change the color of the sound and kind of crap/cheesify it that's not a bitcrusher etc. Like the choir bit lol

I think it might've ended up sounding a little like Rushup 12 underwater though

your on your way with this one. but you don't quite have the "make me shit my pants" feel just yet. it still sounds a bit happy. the song they play during Giygas is probably one of the scariest songs ive ever heard in a game......or in life really. lol. so i know trying to recreate that is going to be extremely hard. but this is a great start for sure. keep up the great work. i really want to get this album when you release it.

PS: i hope you really don't mind but here's the song for those that might not know.

I think part of my goal/intent of the music is to sort of resolve the queasiness/uneasiness of EB music. Plus more idmz lol. Or you know, musical ideas that have been done since 1995. Like sort of idmz edits and stuff but sound possible on an SNES. 16-bit dubstep bass

I had some crazy idea for final battle music in my head the other day but I don't know if it's possible to actually make
