I like what you do from roughly 0:55 onwards - I'm not very partial to the kind of pitch drop toms you have at the start, I much prefer where you take the track towards the end. The ambient feel you have working is nice, I like it.

What exactly do you mean by decent audio converter program?

yeah, i dunno, i like the kind of "cheap" or cheesy sound those electronic toms make, but i'm not sure how well they fit with this particular song. it's a work in progress anyway, thanks for the input mate.

i usually use audacity to convert the tracks from wav to ogg and mp3, and the sound afterwards is always kind of shite.

I like this .... its serious but uplifting. Thankfully the beats weren't too mental to annoy me lol. Good stuff.

thanks, mate! yeah the kind of mental beats in the first part are kind of how far i could go before it just sounded like i had just randomly pushed in shit. glad you listened.

it sort of saddens me that i've started disliking the first part of the song as well. i wanted to do something kind of unabashedly ugly (the cheesy tom sounds + the .. well, the megaman 2-soundtrack beat) but make it sound good, but it's just kind of ham-fisted as of the moment. i'm going to work it into something more subtle
