You've got a lot of ideas here, but I was bit overwhelmed with all the constant changes, going on, the different sections in both of these don't really connect together that well and sound like snippets from different tracks. I'd suggested trying to develop some of the melodic themes you have and see how you can make evolve in a more organic way, rather than each new section feeling like an abrupt 180-degree turn.

For some specific points

1st track:

The hi-hats feel a bit dry, and could do with perhaps more fx, a lightly looser feel to the drum track as a whole would give this a bit more of a dynamic groove. The final section with the staccato synth coming in is, for me, the most interesting, and the most successful.

2nd track:

Overall a bit more cohesive, I'd look again at the string samples (at 0:50) they feel very 'synthetic', lower velocity on the notes, and maybe a different take on the reverb might embed them in the track more. The manic snare section in the middle is pretty cool (though the chords at 1:45 are a bit too bright and loud in the mix). The coda at 2:47 is interesting but doesn't quite fit with what's gone before.
