The demo lets you do that, which is pretty cool. No saving though. Thinking about buying a license soon.These tracks make use of the sampler plus some effects. The source material are loops and one-shots made with hardware stuff. Do you also use bitwig? If so, what do you make of it? And what kind of music do you make? Your sounds a very warm and pleasant. Instead of using the demo I just tried a pirated copy of Bitwig at first. I knew pretty much immediately I wanted to buy it. :) Few weeks later when I had some money to spare I purchased my license from Musician's Friend for $200. Personally I love it too much.. can't shut the fuck up about it honestly. I don't really have any tracks i'd consider finished yet. I spend most of my time just making patches and effects units. Eventually i'll start finishing my tracks but now it's just loads of projects half-finished. I hope to accumulate enough material to have my own sound going. I usually make drones and weird dubby like things. Bitwig to me feels very natural and creatively stimulating. It's not obvious at first when you see it for the first time. A lot of the effects are simple delays, a comb filter, filter, ladder filter, freq shifter, etc.. but once you start using the containers and modulators to build more complex patches things make sense. It's meta-modular design is super, super fun. I spend hours synthesizing stuff. :D I like your other track! I dig this kind of warm noise. What kind of hardware is making those sounds? I also think that using the modulators and containers are really cool. Brings out really nice results. I use the elektron octatrack a lot, and using modulators I can get a similar workflow but even more powerful. As for the hardware I don't really remember the exact samples used but I'm pretty sure that a lot of them was random stuff processed thru Boss SP-303. The synth ones are either Waldorf Microwave XT or Roland Alpha Juno 2 thru some outboard delay and reverb. I like mangling samples of hardware and field recordings in software samplers.
