Well, it already turned up, and I absolutely love it lol. No regrets.

Anyone in here want to buy my 202 before I stick it on ebay?!

I’m interested, pm me with how much you want for it?

Op-ed is crap. Not a resistance.

The writer defends the increased spending on military, the tax breaks for corporations and the immense amount of deregulation that is about to break the economy and the environment.

Keep in mind the context - they are resisting Trump from starting wars with North Korea, serve as a puppet to the Kremlin, enact police state measures, etc. Right-wing technocrats are diverting Trump from creating absolute turmoil and chaos well beyond the standard level of GOP fucking up. It's just confirming how much of the assumptions that the administration serve as babysitters are 100% true.

already confirmed by numerous people who haven't had to hide their identity. I agree he needs to be baby sat. I understand the context. This is just another instance of the Republican Party trying to distance themselves from the president the backed.

  3. I think richard might have used an elektron analog four for some of the percussion on 1st 44. One of the clanky metalic sounds that you can hear near the end of the track sounds JUST like one of the that I've heard from one of the sound packs on the A4.

I felt this too sounds like my Rytm

  4. he's a nostalgist who peaked in the late 90s. he's obsessed with gear now and has been for the last decade. if you're looking for innovation there are other artists. i think aphex has settled nicely into making extremely good electronic music that is still built around a pop framework, which is what he's always done well. his days of pushing the genre ahead are probably over.

Not sure if i'd agree, pushing the genre isn't just about what new sounds one can muster from new technologies. I think there is a ton to be said for composition and thats definately my favorite part of what this latest release has got to offer.

  5. just placed buy order for the ltd vinyl and cassette... no prob.

also, did anyone notice/mention the glass house AFX apparently lived in makes an appearance in the vid? looks like the one... at 3:59

  6. love this thread. For the last 7 years I worked for a roaster (Ritual) in San Francisco and then managed a restaurant/cafe in berkeley and got the point where i wouldn't drink my morning cup until i had tested 3 cups made in a V60 with a refractometer/taste to test the extraction...only then would i drink one of them. even more work went into pulling espresso shots. For anyone who wants to learn more about coffee look up Ben Kaminsky. He taught me everything i know about coffee. We used to go grocery shopping for fruits and nuts and chocolate and set up "cuppings" of newly rested coffees... beautiful. can be like wine.

now: i have a baby, night school, no money to play with, pump any sludge down my throat.

  7. so funny you posted this. We were putting my daughter to bed with some sesame st vids and as we were close to dreamland I heard the BOC sample and thought wtf and then fell asleep. Couldn't remember the vid...Glad you posted this, it was driving me nuts...

  8. Damn, they are trying to sell them as boutique low run exclusive synths for crazy money last I saw.

    Jealous haha.

I think the reason I found mine at such decent price was what I suspected: a lot of people would want the 14' since it's such a beautiful thing but at the end of the day wouldn't be too jazzed about its lack of bells and whistles. It's a classic, fixed architecture monosynth (something I've been hoping a modern company would produce). Moog did it with the new Model D but I couldn't afford that.

  9.

    My music corner.

Yay team Rytm! I'm sure that blue keyboard is something common enough (Korg?) but I can't tell based on that/my memory... What's the pedal? Bubble Tron? What are you processing with that?
F*%k yes Rytm! The bubble tron is a little filter/phaser/flanger I use on synth, drums or whatever, it's the only analog effect I need since I'm fairly happy with my other vst effects.

    New Vermona KB?

Yes sir, the Vermona 14' I got an insane deal on it second hand. If I record anything with it worth hearing I'll post it.
