  1. Is it too soon to be talking about "new favourite track" etc? Probably, but it's fucking good innit! The MP3 obviously sounding a lot nicer than the Youtube balls. This is the stuff I was hoping he'd release, know it's not blowing enough minds for some but it's right up there IMO, can see it having enough depth to keep me going for a good while, like our friend Ziggomatic.

  2. I was hoping Rich would have knocked my door and delivered the EP by now, guess he's having a lie in.

I'm kind of expecting something in the vein of Windowlicker/Come to Daddy, not sound wise but in having a dabble in something different. Or it might just be some banging tunes. C'mon Rich let's go

  3. got me the field day lp and all the bonus tracks we didn't have yet + one of them korg tracks

35 euro for more then 2 hours of great music that goes straight to the man, i don't see how that is that expensive or unfair and he gave us 250trxxx for free, buy or die!!!

so happy with all these new friggin traacks

Agreed! Awesome quality, tons of stuff, unexpected, and relatively cheap - the man's as generous as ever, and a lot more so than I would have expected 5 years ago.

Soon as I get paid at the end of the month, Rich's pockets are going to get a little bit heavier.

  4.

The new tracks (that weren't on the Soundcloud dump) are underwhelming... At least the Rephlex roster is being rereleased though :catrecline:

I still find it a bit odd to put a countdown for a bleepstore like that...

    could be more to come

this will cause some mega hype, would be good to drop a new album in midst of mega hype

(I know I'm just being hopeful but to some degree it makes sense)

I imagine there is something else coming soon too.

Why else would he not put the Barcelona and Houston track on here? Can't find a reason beside they being on a new album/ep of some sort.

Question: did any of you who were able to sign in and buy notice if the extra/new tracks on an album you previously bought on bleep were free?

Doesn't seem to be, got Syro through Bleep and the bonus track costs 99p.

  5. I don't really know what's going on, but I saw a Tweet, clicked the link and there seems to be all of Dickies albums up for sale digitally, with most having bonus tracks? NIce. You bastards better not break the store any more before I get paid.

Edit: Also spotted The Tuss tracks all have "New", and mostly different names. Is this a remaster or something? Too much to take in, just pump the phex into my veins

  6. Looks like Giant Deflating Football is the only track that's had no praise in this thread....until now. I always think of that track when remembering the album, it sums it up nicely. Makes you laugh a bit, but like you're laughing at something you shouldn't, something dark, like a one legged man falling down stairs.

EKT was one of many albums I got from some cheap CD stall in the middle of Cardiff market on a whim. I miss the days of picking up things you've vaguely heard of, buying them cos they're cheap and finding out they are brilliant, I've gotten too used to waiting for the next big hyped release.

  7. Those 2 ms800 tracks almost blew my mind in the car on the way into work this morning, unexpected sudden insta-vibes. Absolute lush sound, not tried the EP in headphones just yet but can't resist much longer. Was well worth the wait, makes me wonder if he'll ever (or already has) use the Cheetah on some future tracks or if it'll stay confined to this EP.

Also the CD packaging is lovely, don't want to unwrap the little blue bugger.

  8. CIRKLON 1 is a gem on first listen, can only imagine it'll be even better after a couple of headphones listens too. I know he (or was it you? can't remember) hate these kind of comparisons, but it makes me envision some old Golden Axe or Streets of Rage Megadrive soundtrack, brought to the future and twisted into a beautiful beat by Rich.

Love it already, there's a few of RDJ's established styles that I'm always hoping makes an appearance on new tracks/records, and this is definitely one of them. Tussy, playful but dark.

  9. It's understandable that the previews/tracks are being scrutinised already, nothing like an AFX release to stir up the amateur Fantanos. But I'll reserve proper judgement until the actual EP has had a full run through a good few times. That said, from the one listen each I've given to the tracks out there, I'm already happy. Think it'll be a nice little pit stop on the recent Aphexian roadtrip.
