  1. I really want to try Kentucky Route Zero but my catalogue of non-completed games is growing by the day - I've still got to go through (deep breath): Skyrim (still not done ANY of the DLC missions - nor finished the main mission), Kairo, Dark Souls, Terraria, Antichamber, Hotline Miami, Super Meat Boy, Kairo, Ni No Kuni, Okami, Braid, Bastion, Fez, Silent Hill: Homecoming (trying to give it another go), GTA4, L.A. Noire, Miasmata, Dustforce, Knytt Underground, Rochard, The Binding of Isaac, The Void, Amnesia, Psychonauts, Bioshock 1+2, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, English Country Tune, Fallout 3, Lone Survivor, Machinarium, To the Moon, Uplink, and Vessel

Basically I've got enough to keep me going for about a decade and yet I still keep adding to the pile ...

Stick with one and keep going...maybe two. I feel you on the list. Without using emulators and minus the PC, unfortunately my oldest system is the GameCube (sold my atari, nes, n64, etc (although I think I still have my sega)) and I still have games on that I need to play.
  2. Beat Spec Ops. Played it on the highest difficulty before I unlocked FUBAR mode. I must say the game is better than I expected...kind of sad really. Along with frustrating dying a lot bringing me closer to my roots of wanting to throw the controller (But can't cause of the cost of not only the controller but anything else that the parts goes flying into).

Hopefully, now I can start on Ni No Kuni.

Oh I gotta also continue playing Tokyo Jungle.

  3. The 'Director's Cut' of Deadly Premonition arrived today, should be good for a laugh.

I gotta get back into that game. I played it for a long as time..I don't remember how many hours but it was a lot. I gave up cause my hard drive crashed on my xbox and they had to send me a new one. This was before cloud so that wasn't an option.

  4.

    Beat Catherine

Is it worth finishing? I was intrigued by some of the storytelling and presentation but my stupid brain got tired of those nightmare puzzles. Might give it another go if the rest can hold it up.

I've been playing Starseed Pilgrim. Interesting game. The mechanics are not complex but it's very hard to master. A lot of experimentation and iteration to find patterns that work.

My brother would say no. I would say try it, theres a little twist in the story, nothing ground breaking but if you are having trouble with those nightmare puzzles just watch the storyline on youtube. I don't know how far you stopped leading up to the cathedral but there is a shit ton of puzzles. (That is the reason why my brother doesn't like the game).

Think of the level progression of Mega Man. Just when you thought you were done beating all those bad guys by going through their "world/levels" to defeat Dr. Wily, you have even more levels (floors in Catherine) before you can reach the "boss". So be prepared to spout a lot of cussing, undo-ing, restart and Love is Over!

  5. Finally "beat" Skyrim (or at least the main mission. I'm still doing side quests every now and then but now I'm trying to focus on Catherine. "Love is over!" not a stranger to seeing that quote I can tell you that. And will be playing Blops2 for 2 reasons. New DLC on Tuesday and my roommate fucked up save in the main storyline. When I wasn't around he got on my Xbox and tried the storyline, used my save, beat the game and now my save doesn't exist. Lesson learned, I put a password on my profile now.

In addition to, my brother is trying to get me into Fallout.

Well after beating 'sassin's creed 3, I'm playing Skyrim for the first time. Lots of fun frustration such as after killing a dragon people still doubt my dragon-speak abilities...I foosh the area not hitting anyone...they just get mad that i'm making a ruckus and still doubt me. I guess what I did was brushed off.

    FUCK Proventus Avenicci

So far I haven't had the need to say "Fuck you Proventus" except the house is 5000 bucks and at 1000 finally. Although, when trying to find him, I did ask my brother, "who do I talk to to buy a house." He responded with, "look for a gay looking guy in the castle." I guess my brother has something against Proventus too :)

I mostly resent him for doubting my obviously awesome dragon powers

Yeah I got that from him and some other people in a group outside just after I killed the first dragon, along with one of the guards in Dragonsreach..

  9. Well I did pick up the midnight release of Assassin's Creed 3 but they gave me the PS3 version and I believe I ordered the xbox version. I can say stupid of me for not even looking at it until after I ate with a friend (I left the game in the car). So I was thinking about returning it to get an xbox version however....I do have both systems and was wondering for this game..which console would be better? PS3 has a label on the box "only on PS3 4 exclusive single-player missions"..is that worth it to keep for the ps3?

  10. After passing Silent Hill: Downpour I redo my take on it and say I enjoy it regardless of my brother saying its not as scary as the others. I think I got annoyed with the repeating atmospheric music and that one area was because for some reason I found myself trying to do all the side missions. I'm planning on revisit it to get the trophies.

Right now I am moving on to Half Life 2 and would like to play KH: Dream Drop with the audio hooked up to the front room system. I would love to move the video to the TV like the PSP but I don't think that'll work well for 3DS.

  11. I think I'm going backwards. When I was a teen I would play nothing but PC games. Quake (Quake online happy to see TF use 2fort5 map), Quake 3, Unreal, Hexen 2, The Daedalus Encounter, RollerCoaster Tycoon, etc. Not a lot of people I knew would play PC games, it was sorta frowned upon. Now, I have and play console games and not so much PC...however, most people I know are getting into PC games. :)
