Firewire Card with laptop

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Looking to get a firewire soundcard for my laptop which I'm gonna buy.

The Behringer F-Control Audio FCA202 (2 In/2 Out 24-Bit/96 kHz FireWire Audio Interface) looks good and well it is cheap as chips. Anyone used this because essentially I want to be able to get the latency down on Ableton 5. I'm assuming that a pro firewire soundcard will be better than the internal shitty soundcards that Dell laptops come with. Don't really want to get USB as Firewire to me is always gonna be faster. Any views?

Ha ha ... fuck wrong board. Can the mods move this?

EDIT: In fact delete it 'cause I've put it in the right section now.
