I heard Japan sent them space trousers and NASA sent them space suits. An awful lot of media coverage for what essentially was 'Men come out of hole' edit: nobody comment on the innuendo there, lets just walk away And Apple have given them each an iPod, Oakley supplied their sunglasses and apparently a Greek mining company have offered to take them all on holiday... Hat's off to the Chilean President too - I can't see David Cameron pulling a 24hr shift to wave a flag and bear-hug 33 miners. I think the prez has massively boosted his popularity with this shenanigan, I'm sure Cameron would do it for the publicity, the PR savvy prick.
