I'm still uploading clearly unfinished stuff and 80% of my works,
if you dislike something it's ok to tell me. . . ... this feels like my 100th thread, looking forward to master my shit and do the 303 LOL

What's with the sound design?

Also, you don't need a studio to produce something great, you just need a good computer and software and maybe hardware, and a good sound system...

My sound system is just a pair of headphones, Vsts and FLstudio
maybe you are right since many VSTs are just great!

Imho ppl should use real knobs and keys, especally for beginners don't you think?

I'm using my synth more often already... just not for my sounds. It's just not comfortable enough atm.
I cannot play the keys not even Axel F or anything else, but atleast I get a little sense which I don't get on FL.

I love how it is impossible for me to play simple things with 2 hands but I defintly gonna work on that.

A hot chick as piano teacher, I guess that's definitly missing in my setup too.

thx for listening guys I got a hell lot of views

You really gotta stop using FL, try something else like Ableton [i think most 'artists' on WATMM use Ableton]. I only use Adobe Audition, but I'm gonna use Ableton soon, but FL isn't good for sound design.

If you have a good pair of headphones you're halfway there, I do everything with my headphones but listen to the whole track with my bro's system, for the bass and such. If you make everything with your headphones but listen to the 'final' thing with good bass on a good system, then you can change some things so it doesn't sound suckish [to you].

I don't have any hardware, I would like some synths though, just don't have the money. I don't you really need hardware per se, it's just what you like most, I would like to focus only on the sound for once and not some other things that make me change the sound I'm working on. Hardware does make you work different with sounds. As you said, especially beginners should use hardware, makes them focus more on the sound and less on complexity which grows over time.

thx for the comment!!

may I ask; does abelton haz stepsequencers?

Step Sequencer and Tracklist is all I need from Fruity, so maybe it's not such a big deal to move over to ableton?!?

I think atm I rly need this step sequencer thing,

my hardware was a sweet present coming from my insurance comp. right after my cellar got flooded, yay!
