Hmm..is it likely that he'll release another (Aphex Twin) record for a while? Doing all this raises a few questions especially as he said he was working on a new logo in a recent interview. Or it is maybe a way to bypass legal wranglings.

Very true. I was stuck in traffic this morning for 90mins, played the tunes from the last few days in the car in peace. For fans there are loads of little snippets here and there that will make you smile/punch the air when you hear known sequences in early/different forms.
